Janice Payne, Executive Resident Director

Janice Payne was founding director for Boston University’s Los Angeles Program and has over fifteen years experience with the Emerson College Los Angeles Program. She has been a coordinator of special speakers’ series featuring leaders in marketing, advertising, public relations, film, tv, music video, business, government and academia, as well as a director of special events and programs in the entertainment industry. Janice was the recipient of Emerson College Alumni Award for Leadership in the Emerson College Los Angeles Program.

Frederick Levy

Frederick Levy is the owner of Management 101, a firm guides the careers of actors, authors, screenwriters, and directors. In addition to his day to day management of clients, he also develops and produces film and television. Currently Frederick is the Executive Producer of Unknown starring Jim Caviezel, Greg Kinnear, Joey Pantoliano, and Jeremy Sisto. Previously, Frederick was a producer on FRAILTY, starring Bill Paxton and Matthew McConaughey, for Lions Gate Films.

Matthew D. Matsaganis

Matthew Matsaganis (B.A., National & Capodistrian University of Athens, Greece; M.A. in Political Communication, Emerson College, Boston; M.A. in Communication, Annenberg School, University of Southern California) is currently a lecturer and doctoral candidate at the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Southern California. Matthew’s research focuses on media economics and the political economy of communication industries, globalization and networked governance, urban environment and community transformation, and political and organizational communication.
